Online case file

The case file is available online, allowing the murder investigation to be conducted entirely online and remotely. It is also possible to download the case file and print it. With the case file on paper it ads something extra to the investigation.

During a murder case, you will investigate unsolved murders at home or at your own location that, due to the discovery of new evidence, appear to have been committed by the same perpetrator. For the investigation, you will receive access to the crime database containing digital police files of two or more unsolved murder cases. You can also order the physical files. It's up to you to discover the connection, why the murders were committed, and who the perpetrator is.

Dossiers with evidence material

For investigating the murder, you read the police interrogations of suspects and witnesses, check the 112 reports received in the vicinity, examine the evidence in the files, and verify the found information. Who saw the victim last? Are there security camera images from the location where the victim was? There are multiple leads to be explored. You investigate these leads and look for a connection between the victims. By examining all the evidence, you can hopefully solve these murder cases.

At the Department of National Criminal Investigative Services (DNCIS), you can solve a realistic murder case as a civilian. You will receive access to the online crime database with the online case file, photos, autopsy reports, and videos of interrogations and security camera footage.
